Acme Universal Safezone 9 Limited was originally formed as a partnership firm, M/s Acme Fabrik Plast Co, on April 08, 1994. It was subsequently converted into Acme Universal Safezone 9 Private Limited on November 25, 2016, and later converted into a public company and renamed Acme Universal Safezone 9 Limited on July 08, 2025.
The Company has 32+ years of experience in the safety footwear industry and began its journey in Gwalior with a single factory producing around 100 pairs of shoes per day. It focuses on manufacturing protective footwear for Indian industries, with an emphasis on innovation, quality, protection, technology and durability.
The Company serves customers across multiple industries, including the automobile sector, and has been associated with clients such as Mahindra, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Ola and Yamaha. It also focuses on customised solutions, technical support and post-sales service to build long-term customer relationships.
The Company has received recognition including the ‘Make in India’ Award from the Government of India and being recognised as ‘India’s Small Giant’ by Forbes India. It continues to focus on developing innovative safety footwear and solutions for diverse industrial requirements.
Manufacturing Scale & Location: Operates five manufacturing facilities across Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh with in-house production from leather cutting and upper assembly to lasting, sole injection, finishing and packaging, supported by warehousing and dispatch infrastructure.
Automation & Technology: Uses automated Desma PU direct injection and Orisol stitching machines, SAP S/4 HANA-based digital monitoring, triple density manufacturing, Phylon rubber processing and Surge Sense technology to improve consistency and reduce manual dependency.
Wide Product Range & Standards Compliance: Manufactures 15 product lines across EVA-rubber, Nitrile Rubber and PVC soles, meeting occupational safety requirements and standards including IS 15298, EN ISO 20345, ASTM F2413 and SEDEX SMETA, with in-house R&D and product testing capabilities.
Geographical Revenue Concentration: A significant portion of revenue comes from certain states despite PAN-India operations. Political, geographical or competitive changes, or lower demand in these states, could affect revenue and profitability.
Pending Fire NOCs: Three Fire NOC applications for manufacturing facilities in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh remain pending. Any delay or refusal in obtaining these approvals could adversely affect operations.
